Enrichment

Our Enrichment program is part of our Pre-school program.

 

We include some additional ‘enrichment’ experiences for our Pre- schoolers who will attend primary school the following year.

Children will be engaged in small group experiences with our Early Childhood Teacher and educators to complete specific individual and group tasks, share ideas and work with others, start and complete something, attempt new experiences and confidently take on new challenges, including asking for help.

 

We know that when children are socially and emotionally prepared, they develop many skills such as curiosity, persistence and creativity and become confident, involved, and enthusiastic learners.  

These additional experiences usually occur after lunch when younger children are resting and complement and extend the myriad of other experiences available at other times throughout our day.
