Who we are
Cooloon Children’s Centre Inc. acknowledge the Bundjalung people as the traditional custodians of this land on which Cooloon Children’s Centre Inc.is built and where we play and learn.
Cooloon is the original name of Tweed Heads and is an aboriginal word meaning place of many trees.
The guiding principles of Cooloon Children’s Centre Inc. are that the health, safety and rights of children and adults will be protected and enhanced within a happy, caring and stimulating educational environment.
This service was assessed in 2013 on the National Quality Standard (NQS) Assessment and Rating tool under the National Quality Framework (NQF) that began in January 2012. Our rating can be found at this link.
Our service has an ongoing commitment to provide quality care and education up to and beyond our assessment and is actively working towards maintaining the exceeding rating received in the National Quality Standard.
To provide and maintain the highest quality children’s service that is responsive to the need of our children and families.
